Shipping fees depend on where your art is going, its size, and its weight. Most artists include shipping costs in their artwork price, but this can be clarified directly with them via their contact box on their profile page.

Shipping Your Artwork

Ensure you direct your shipment to the address given at checkout. If you need to modify the shipping details, reach out to our support at info@bcaf.co.uk for approval.

Artists can find the delivery details for their orders by accessing the ‘Orders’ section on their vendor dashboard.

Delivery Timelines

Our artists and galleries ship directly, resulting in varied delivery times. You can get an estimate for each item under ‘Store Policies’ in the art shop.

Secure Packaging Practices

To minimise the risk of damage in transit, we have outlined specific packaging guidelines for different types of artwork: For prints and photographs:

• Use a robust tube at least 2mm thick and longer than the width of your print.
• Centre the print on acid-free paper, then cover with larger tissue paper.
• Roll gently and insert into the tube, securing it with end caps.

For works on paper:

• Use a reinforced envelope for flat-packing.
• Protect with acid-free tissue and corner protectors, surrounded by firm cardboard.
• Wrap securely in bubble wrap and further protect with corrugated cardboard on the outside.

For larger items and framed works:

• Pack in a spacious cardboard box or wooden crate.
• Cushion with acid-free paper, bubble wrap, and additional padding materials.
• Custom crates are recommended for particularly valuable or delicate pieces.

Delivery

Every shipment is sent through traceable and insured channels to ensure your artwork’s safe arrival. International shipments should ideally be sent Delivery Duty Paid to avoid unexpected fees.

If you wish to return an item, our 14-day return policy is there for your peace of mind. Please keep the original packaging intact, as it’s crucial for a successful return.
