Rob Grieve
Rob is primarily a printmaker with a pinch of collage, painting and illustration on the side. He has had work accepted and exhibited at the Bath Society of Artists Open, Royal West of England Academy, Wells Art Contemporary, and smaller local exhibitions in Bath.
His relief printmaking focus is on linocuts, woodcuts and wood engraving, with most of the output in limited editions. His printmaking approach is graphical with occasional splashes of colour and the use of patterns. Many of his compositions are quirky with a sense of humour and include figurative or abstract output. His paintings are mainly abstract and sometimes influenced by his printmaking.
Rob is member of the Bath Society of Artists (BSA), actively involved in running Linocut Basics Workshops and sharing his approach to relief printmaking.
