Lynn Keddie
I grew up surrounded by photography, flowers, and a deep respect for nature – an unspoken education that shaped who I am today.
After years in business, I became an editorial garden photographer, capturing the beauty of plants and landscapes. This reignited my love for painting, something I had left behind in my teenage years. Moving to the West Country in the late 1990s, I found the space and inspiration to fully embrace it.
Flowers and the rhythm of nature are at the heart of my work. I paint with acrylics, layering colours quickly to create depth and emotion. My tools are unconventional – brushes, spatulas, even grasses and flower heads – embedding nature directly into my paintings. I paint what I feel, not just what I see.
Through my work, I celebrate the beauty of the natural world, capturing its fleeting moments and timeless energy.
