Bristol based artist, Louise Wilmot, started painting in 2021.

Formerly a TV title sequence designer, Louise brings a trained designers eye to her bold, botanical work.

Alongside this detailed work, more impressionistic and evocative images are emerging.

She enjoys one skill informing the other, as her style evolves.

Inspired by the changing mood of the seasons, Louise responds intuitively and aims to capture visual memories that depict familiar glimpses of time spent observing the landscape.
