Lavinia Tyler is a painter whose work explores the emotional charge of landscape through colour, atmosphere and shifting form. Her compositions move between memory and place, drawing on weather, light and the unstable nature of recollection. Balancing observation with intuition, Tyler creates paintings that feel both familiar and elusive, where landscape becomes a vessel for mood, nostalgia and personal reflection. Based in the South of England, her practice considers how environments stay with us long after we leave them.
