Jenny’s passion is for full bodied colour, paintings that sing out loud, each work has its own song to sing, its own story. Jenny’s art is inspired by memories of bright sunlit days, sun-kissed skin, the joy of youth when everything is vibrant and full of possibilities. The rush of colours when you visit somewhere new. The current themes she is working on are still lifes, finding the hidden treasure in the everyday. Jenny’s works are painted in Acrylic and mixed media, this involves a variety of mark making techniques and a range of distressing processes. She employs a multi-layered approach, removing some areas to reveal surprising details.
