My first memories are of colour — a cherry red tricycle, a shimmering aqua swimming pool. Colour has so much power to trigger memories and elevate the energy of a space. In each of my works, I aim to use colour in combination with hints of the natural landscape to build mood and provide the viewer with an escape to — or a permanent reminder of — a special place, memory, or state of mind.
