Jacqueline Hammond is an experienced painter from the United Kingdom whose works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. Working in acrylic on canvas, Hammond seeks inspiration from the world around her and creates everything from bright abstract works to seascapes and detailed bird portraits. Her paintings are characterized by bright color palettes and precision in line, form, and shadows. She has produced a large body of work numerous paintings are now held in private collections internationally.

Launch of her Smart Deco Style range printing her art on to deckchairs and other furnishings led to interest from the media with her work appearing in several publications in the national press, on radio and television. Opportunities for collaboration with public institutions, organisations  and charities such as the RNLI, British Legion and Science Museum have followed.

Her studio based work was on public view for years on Brighton seafront, in an Open Studios and Gallery ran by a collective of artists, which inspired visitors and locals alike to ask for several  commissioned pieces.

The Groyne series which focuses on to activities by people at the beach, sold out after featuring in curated collections on the Saatchi gallery site. It is these figurative pieces, as in the ‘Life’s a Beach’ series that have become iconic of her style.
