I use pencil on paper to create detailed photorealistic drawings, focusing on light and form. With a BA (Hons) in 3-Dimensional Design I was a sculptor for the early part of my art career, using drawing predominantly as a tool for research and development. I began developing my drawing 10 years ago, indulging a love of solid form, textures, attention to detail and celebrating bold light and dark shadows. I initially focused my drawing on my love of motorcycles and the culture around them and continue with that work while also developing my work further with the challenge of handling complex light and detail and reflections in architectural settings.
