Artist Profile
Chloe Pinheiro
Chloe Pinheiro is a Wiltshire based artist who works with free-flowing movement, to create textured and colourful abstract pieces inspired by nature. Using a unique multi-layered technique, Chloe adds texture and depth to her paintings giving them organic vivacity. She is known for paintings focused on natural water sources, in particular the geological surroundings and weather patterns that impact the flow of water. By capturing areas of light and shade refracted through the water’s surface, Chloe draws the viewer into the uncompromising energy, elegant forms and unyielding motion of nature’s tidal strength. Chloe’s work has more recently expanded back into her love of sea & landscapes, taking inspiration from the beautiful natural scenes that surround the South-West.
Highlights in Chloe’s artistic journey to date, include displaying work in exhibitions, art trails, opens and galleries within the South-West & London. A high point of 2023 was selling work at The Brick Lane Gallery, London. 2024 started off equally exciting, with a well received joint exhibition ‘Blue Hues’ at the well known arts venue The Tetbury Goods Shed. In the coming months Chloe is set to paint at UPFEST 2024 and is preparing for two gallery exhibitions later in the year. Followed by a return visit to BCAF.
