CAROLE ANNE TONGE is a printmaker working predominantly with the technics of etching and collagraph. This allows her to explore texture and tone, light and shade. Many prints start out from drawings made on walks and then they are worked up, layer by layer, in her Chippenham studio. Although she takes her inspiration from both the Wiltshire countryside and the nearby towns of Bath and Bristol she can also find influence in her cut flower garden.
